Street Brawl is a 4v4, best-of-five combat mode with no normal soul economy. First to three round wins takes the match; destroy the enemy Guardian to win a round. Once a team has two wins, its opponent attacks a Walker instead. Standard-mode matchmaking rating is unaffected. The mode was introduced in Old Gods, New Blood.

Round Ability points Boons Base respawn Draft tiers Objective base health
1 6 10 25 s 1, 2, 3 1,800
2 6 19 25 s 2, 3 3,200
3 5 25 30 s 2, 3, 4 4,600
4 5 30 30 s 3, 4; chance of legendary 5 6,000
5 10 34 30 s 4; chance of legendary 5 7,400

Rounds enter overtime after three minutes and urgent overtime after 4.5. Each draft lasts 50 seconds. Non-ultimate abilities begin ready; ultimates start with a heavily reduced cooldown. Losing teams’ objectives gain 1,200 health, or 2,800 if at match point; a Walker gains a further 4,000. Structures have faster and greater resistance decay, and Guardians have Backdoor Protection.

Draft

Each round offers three sets of three items and one reroll of a set. Random-hero selection gives an extra reroll in the first three rounds. Rerolls preserve similar tier and rarity. Heroes have weighted item chances, and counter items are more likely against particular enemies: Knockdown against Deadman Danny, Seven or Vindicta; Healbane against McGinnis. Rare, enhanced and legendary offers are mirrored in equivalent rarity across teams. Enhanced normal and legendary items have improved numerical stats. If an offered upgrade builds from an item already chosen, an additional lower-tier item is awarded. There is no item limit; the interface expands past 12 items. If no item is selected, the selection remains open during play.

Legendary items

The mode has 17 exclusive legendary items, labeled tier 5 and valued at 9,999 souls.

Category Item Effect
Weapon Haunting Shot Next enlarged, piercing bullet deals bonus spirit damage based on current health and reduces healing, move speed and damage output.
Weapon Infinite Rounds Infinite ammunition; bullets can become unavoidable, piercing enemies and ignoring Bullet Resist.
Weapon Runed Gauntlets Next melee pierces parry; landing a heavy melee reduces existing cooldowns.
Vitality Celestial Blessing Active team cleanse, health and stamina restoration, and movement speed.
Vitality Cloak of Opportunity Periodically blocks a movement-lock, stun, immobilize, chain or sleep debuff, granting a temporary barrier, speed and Unstoppable.
Vitality Electric Slippers During slides, evade bullets, increase fire rate and periodically damage nearby enemies with spirit damage.
Vitality Eternal Gift Random permanent stat buff every two seconds; occasionally greatly reduces next respawn.
Vitality Nullification Burst Removes nearby enemy positive buffs and briefly blocks stamina use and healing.
Vitality Seraphim Wings Greatly reduces gravity and grants airborne damage amplification and reduction, improved air control and an extra air dash or jump before landing.
Vitality Shadow Strike Stamina use grants temporary invisibility; melee from invisibility applies spirit damage over time and steals Bullet and Spirit Resist.
Spirit Frostbite Charm Imbue an ability for cooldown reduction and spirit power; its damage freezes and deals bonus spirit damage.
Spirit Mystic Conduit Grants substantial ability range and cooldown reduction to user and nearby allies; high damage to an enemy hero over a short interval heals them.
Spirit Mystical Piano Drops a piano after a delay, stunning and reducing stamina in an area; targets are dazed briefly after the stun.
Spirit Omnicharge Signet Imbues an active non-ultimate ability with charges; already charged abilities gain more.
Spirit Prism Blast Grants temporary untargetability and invincibility while damaging lasers rotate around the user.
Spirit Shrink Ray Shrinks self or an allied hero temporarily and greatly increases movement speed.
Spirit Unstable Concoction Temporarily boosts speed, health, spirit power and weapon damage, then kills the user in an explosion that deals large maximum-health-based area damage and stuns enemies.

Mode rules

All hero ability and item ranges and radii are reduced 10%. Individual ability changes affect Baba, Bebop, Calico, Celeste, Deadman Danny, Drifter, Dynamo, Graves, Holliday, Infernus, Ivy, Kelvin, Lady Geist, Lash, McGinnis, Mirage, Nurse Harrow, Paige, Paradox, Rat King, Seven, Victor, Violet and Warden. Mode-specific changes are marked with a yellow circle in descriptions.

Alchemical Fire damage is reduced 30%; Cursed Relic lasts 2.75 rather than 3.25 seconds; Golden Goose Egg is disabled; Mystic Expansion’s radius bonus is 16% instead of 20%, and Greater Expansion’s 25% instead of 30%.

Haunts do not spawn. Troopers spawn five seconds before a round starts and then every 18 seconds in early rounds or 15 in later rounds. Their initial and overtime Spirit Resist and structure damage are increased, and their zipline vessels cannot be shot down. They drop no souls, but pushing still supplies Medic Trooper healing and objective pressure.

Overtime Trooper health multiplier Trooper damage multiplier Added respawn time
Rounds 1–3 1.75× 1.44× 25–30 s standard; 40–45 s urgent
Round 4 2× 1.44× 25–30 s standard; 40–45 s urgent
Round 5 2.5× 1.56× 25–30 s standard; 40–45 s urgent

Pausing is disabled, base healing is twice as fast as standard, and the zipline has a 20-second cooldown at round start. With cheats enabled, citadel_item_purchases_force_enhanced true enables enhanced testing items and citadel_hero_testing_legendary_items true enables legendary items; use both for enhanced legendaries.
