Lane Guardians are defensive structures, with three per team, one in each lane. Their brazier heads are vulnerable to headshots. The listed base health is 5,500, beam damage is 116 DPS, range is 34 m, Spirit Resist is 0%, and the bounty is 1,375 souls for each living hero on the destroying team.

Combat

Without an enemy hero or trooper within 24 m, the Guardian is invulnerable. When vulnerable, it beams the closest enemy, dealing weapon damage mitigated by Bullet Resist. A player outside its range cannot damage it even if a trooper makes it vulnerable. It targets an enemy player who damages an allied player within 15 m. At 5 m, it repeatedly melees heroes or melee troopers until they leave or die. Parrying stuns it for two seconds; it then switches to the beam and cannot melee for five seconds. Lane Guardians have no backdoor protection.

Resistance

Time-scaled damage resistance applies to all but pure damage and falls linearly over the first 720 seconds. It combines multiplicatively with -25% player Bullet Resist and 10% intrinsic Bullet Resist.

Match time Damage resistance
0:00 50%
3:00 25%
6:00 0%
9:00 -25%
12:00 onward -50%

For time t in seconds during the scaling interval, bullet damage is base bullet damage × (0.5 + t/720) × 1.25 × 0.9; spirit damage is base spirit damage × (0.5 + t/720). The resistance stops at -50% after 12 minutes.

Reduced objective damage

The Guardian’s Latin inscription warns an intrepid soul about the burning guardians and suggests bringing friends to remove it.
