Backdoor Protection is structure
damage resistance indicated by a green circle and a green heart with “Protected” beneath the
health bar. Every structure except the
Lane Guardian has it;
Lane Guardians have it in
Street Brawl. A nearby enemy
trooper wave removes protection. For base structures, any allied
zipline pushed to the base removes it. Once removed, a 14-second buffer precedes its reapplication.
Destroying a protected structure immediately advances the attacking team’s
zipline to that structure, regardless of its previous progress. Protection regeneration restores only
health lost while protected, up to the structure’s
health before that attack. Separately, the
Patron regenerates 120 HP/s out of combat and can recover to full
health.
| Structure | Regeneration | |
|---|---|---|
| 65% | 65 HP/s | |
| 65% | 65 HP/s | |
| 65% | 65 HP/s | |
| 65% | 75 HP/s |
Shrines are invulnerable until one pair of Base Guardians is destroyed. Separately from backdoor resistance,
Base Guardians start with 40% bullet resistance and Shrines with 60%; each nearby enemy hero reduces that resistance by 20 percentage points, to a minimum of zero.
Damage calculation
Final DPS = Base DPS × (1 − Backdoor Resist) × (1 − Additional Resists) −
Health Regen, with resistances expressed as fractions. Against a protected
Walker without additional resistance, 188.57 base DPS leaves approximately 1 DPS after 65% resistance and 65 HP/s regeneration: 188.57 × 0.35 − 65 ≈ 1. The source rounds this example to 189 DPS.
