Self-damage is
damage a hero deals to themselves through an ability, item or weapon. It normally cannot kill the user and bypasses barriers, except
Rat King’s
Royal Pestments.
All listed sources deal spirit or
pure damage.
Spirit Resist reduces spirit self-damage, and incoming
damage amplification affects only the spirit kind. Incoming
damage reduction affects both; outgoing
damage amplification and reduction affect neither.
