Three green Rejuvenator crystals appear above the Midboss pit when the Midboss dies. They descend for 7.5 seconds and cannot be claimed before landing. Any player can break a crystal with one heavy melee, giving their team one Rejuvenation Credit and healing the player to full health. A team can claim up to three credits from one Midboss. Baba’s Granny Long Legs heavy-melee stomp hits only the closest Rejuvenator in range, according to the October 30 update. The October 30, 2026 update also says each crystal grants its breaker 500 souls plus 9 per minute.

Rejuvenation Credit

The team-wide effect lasts three minutes or until all credits are consumed; a warning appears with 30 seconds remaining. When an eligible hero dies, one credit is spent and that hero revives after three seconds at full health at the place of death, or on the ground below an airborne death. Each hero can consume only one credit. The top bar shows remaining credits, and a highlight below net worth identifies players who have not used one. The effect ends for everyone when the pool is exhausted.

A death with a credit does not appear as a kill in the HUD or award souls, but it triggers on-hero-kill effects, including Shiv’s Killing Blow reset and stacks for Grey Talon, Mo & Krill and Vindicta’s ultimates and Drifter’s Bloodscent. During the revive countdown the player is considered dead for ally-presence effects and cannot contest the Unstable Rift.

The October 30, 2026 update changed the drop from one central crystal to three randomly placed around the pit and increased the descent from six to 7.5 seconds. The March 6 update says claiming a later crystal no longer refreshes the duration.

Update history

Date Change
October 30, 2026 One central crystal became three randomly placed around the pit, each broken by one heavy melee for one credit and a full heal; total credits remained three. Each breaker gained a 500 + 9/min bounty, and descent increased from 6 to 7.5 seconds.
June 30, 2026 Buff duration fell from four minutes to three.
March 6, 2026 Descent fell from seven seconds to six; claiming a later crystal stopped refreshing duration.
