Types

Reductions and immunity

Diminishing returns apply to stun, sleep, immobilize, chain/tether and silence—the same set that triggers Reactive Barrier. Applying one after one of these effects within the last 9 seconds reduces its duration by 15% to 35%, depending on the number of recent effects. Multiple CC effects from one action, such as Shoulder Charge’s grab and stun or Death Slam’s grab and stun, count as one.

Slow resistance reduces slow strength: modified speed = base speed × (1 − slow × (1 − slow resistance)). For example, Flame Dash’s 12 m/s base speed with a 30% slow and 50% innate slow resistance becomes 10.2 m/s, a 15% reduction.

Invincibility prevents targeting and hits; projectiles and areas pass through. Examples include Ethereal Shift, Return to Shadows and the transformation phase of Shadow Transformation. The first two permit limited movement; Yamato cannot move during transformation.

A purge removes debuffs. Removing a delayed effect such as Djinn’s Mark before it detonates prevents its detonation. Examples include tier 3 The Cube, Shadow Transformation and Dispel Magic. Unstoppable grants immunity to all crowd control; sources include the Unstoppable item, tier 3 Seismic Impact and Shadow Transformation. The Status Effects reference catalogs individual sources and additional effect interactions.
