The Friends of Humanity are a "neo inquisition" political group founded by the descendants of John Hathorne.[1][2]

Their leader is also named John Hathorne, described as a "political firebrand"[3] and a "controversial speaker".[4]

Summary

Vindicta wants to kill John Hathorne and eradicate the Friends of Humanity.[5][6][7] She has already shot John’s brother.[8] Grey Talon suspects the group’s members were behind the murder of his family, and is similarly pursuing them.[9][10]

Hathorne has survived an assassination attempt.[4] if Vindicta doesn’t complete the ritual, she plans to assassinate him during his next public appearance at Columbia University.[11] Haze warns Vindicta that murdering Hathorne will "galvanize" the Friends of Humanity.[12]

Mo & Krill don’t like the Friends of Humanity and support Grey Talon’s actions.[13] Infernus similarly supports Vindicta.[14]

The Friends of Humanity have rallied in New York to protest against the US Government‘s aid to Ixia, amid the Ixian War.[2]
