REQUIEM win the BUBCUP October Invitational with a 2–0 final victory

REQUIEM won the BUBCUP October Invitational after beating Vanguard Gaming 2–0 in the final. EDL’s completed event bracket lists REQUIEM first and Vanguard second, with a $300 prize pool.

The event is dated October 30, but the final crossed into the following UTC date: EDL lists its start as October 31 at 00:30 UTC.

Three wins on the way to the title

REQUIEM opened with a 1–0 win over Rabbolt, then beat Mystics 1–0 in the semifinal. The final required a best-of-three series, and REQUIEM won both games.

The final series page records a combined 78–65 kill advantage for the winners. DK92 finished with 18 kills, 7 deaths and 28 assists. LaroKashi contributed 17/10/34, while Strenngth recorded 17/9/20.

Vanguard Gaming reached the final by beating Echo Team and Ignored By Pugs, both 1–0. Waige led their final-series kill total with 19, but the team could not take a game from REQUIEM.

The title follows REQUIEM’s recent North American Night Shift appearance, where they lost the Challenger Match to YFP. BUBCUP gave them a separate route to a tournament win, rather than a rematch with the Night Shift finalists.
