LOMEIN leads on Baba
Melee Creeps secured
Baba in the opening draft. LOMEIN finished the game with 13 kills, 2 deaths and 18 assists, according to Deadfrag’s match report.
YFP put up resistance in the lanes, but Melee Creeps steadily extended their lead. The first game ended in 28:09 with a 43–15 kill score.
A different draft, the same result
YFP banned
Baba in the first round before game two and picked
Nurse Harrow for zirbzy. The
healing could not hold off Melee Creeps: AVG on
Drifter and Saiah on
Solomon each recorded 11 kills. Melee Creeps closed the game in 27:11, leading 50–24 in kills.
EDL named Saiah the tournament MVP, his eighth such award in the Night Shift series.
The final also reunited former teammates. YFP’s Goober, braeden and Lefaa faced players from the rebuilt Melee Creeps roster following its merger with Poppers Pupils. YFP’s first tournament ended with a final appearance, but the new challengers could not break the champions’ run.
