Continue with Steam Cosmetic1 action spotted in a screenshot of Deadlock’s controller settings
A controller settings label has drawn attention, although the screenshot does not reveal what the action does.
A screenshot shared by Reddit user Craftinrock shows a controller action named Cosmetic1 in Deadlock’s Game Actions menu. The image appears in the Cosmetic Button on Steam Controller thread.
Commenters suggest the action might be used to place a poster or throw a snowball. The author also considers those possibilities, but the post does not demonstrate what happens when the assigned button is pressed.
The screenshot shows the label in that interface. It does not establish what the action does, whether it appears in other controller configurations or when it was added. Its behavior has not been independently checked in the current client.
There is no evidence in the post connecting Cosmetic1 to a skin store, new skins or emotes. Nor does it contain a Valve announcement of a cosmetic feature. Until the action is tested, its purpose remains unclear.
